To facilitate the major extension of the Hospital KMS were employed to undertake a wide range of enabling works, which included the complete reconfiguration and refurbishment of the building.
This work including making significant structural alterations as well as the re-routing of services.

As part of the refurbishment work we transformed the main reception area of the hospital, the administration offices, all 42 of the patient bedrooms as well as the treatment and consulting rooms.

As well as transforming existing areas we also developed a whole host of different services for the hospital including a new Pathology Department, a new Laser Treatment Room, an Ophthalmic consulting room, a new Endoscopy Suite, a new computer server room and WC facilities for the public and staff.

Once again this work was carried out whilst paying due attention to ensuring that the functionality of the hospital was not unnecessarily impaired.
